The Standard Tiime Correction and the time of Solar Noon

The Standard Time Correction table shows you the correction you have to make to Solar Time to get to
Civil Time - the time on your watch. So, for example, on 1st July you have to addt 4 mins and 36seconds
to get to Civil time - tthe time on your wach



The solar noon table gives you exactly the same information but in a different form which some people
find easier to use. This tells you tht on the 1st July, the time of solr noon is at 12.04.36





You should note that the values given here are 4-year averages due t the influence of leap years.
But the variation from one year to another is very small
